Approved draft law that recognizes Acupuncture in Portugal

        Law of Non-Conventional Therapies

Was approved July 24, 2013, in Parliament, the Draft Law 
No. 111/XII, which regulates Law 45/2003, known by the Law of Non-Conventional Therapies which are inserted Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, among others.

Portugal is just one of the European countries to recognize in law the Conventional Therapies, despite numerous warnings from the World Health Organization to States to recognize and promote in their National Health Services Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.
